Radisson luxury hotels, perfect for your honeymoon and more
Travelers seeking luxury have landed in the right spot at Radisson Aruba Resort and Casino. Boasting a $55 million renovation, this hotel features exotic decor and custom-designed features, and thats just the inside.Stroll the exotic, beautifully-appointed grounds or sunbathe on one of Aruba's most pristine beaches. The dedicated and friendly staff will take care of all your needs while you relax in paradise. The Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino can be found in Palm Bch./Manchebo Bch./Oranjestad, an attractive part of Aruba that is an ideal place for a memorable getaway. Of all the high-rise hotel rooms in Aruba, the ones at the Radisson have the most charm. They don't appear to be designed by a corporate committee of androids. Decorated to reflect colonial West Indian and Caribbean design, the 357 guest rooms (which range from 380 to 478 square feet) and 32 suites feature doors and furniture made of rattan and dark wood, mahogany bed frames, and wooden shutters. Beds in the hotel are four-posters, and the majority holds Sleep Number mattresses, where you can dial your preferred hardness. Upon request the hotel can provide short-stature guests with an accessibility kit. All rooms have air-conditioning, high-speed Internet access, a phone with voicemail, TV, in-room pay movies, AM/FM alarm clock radio, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, refrigerator, safe, and walk-in closet. Italian-marble bathrooms at Radisson Aruba feature a single vanity sink and magnifying makeup mirror. As protection from the Aruban heat, the wide, open-air lobby of the Radisson Aruba is paved with cool stones and kept relatively dark. From the entrance one goes into the lobby, past the cool casino, onto the sunny landscaped property, and down to the sun-bright beach. The Radisson Aruba is home to several brilliantly colored parrots, which you may see up close as their handler conveys them through the lobby. All guestrooms and suites at Radisson Aruba feature a private balcony or terrace with teakwood furniture. If considering a stay here, be sure to specify that you want a pool or ocean view. I inspected several rooms with disappointing views of rooftop areas of the hotel. The terraces are however quite small and could only fit a single chair and table.
